Lisa is our hostess this Thursday, her great challenge can be found HERE.
I'd wanted for a while to try Dina's Pastel Stencil Press tutorial, so now was the perfect time. Plus, it's a two-for one technique - you get a more detailed background where the Versamarked stencil transfers to the card (this piece), and a less detailed one where you have pressed the Versamark pad through the stencil.
I used bright colours for this one, and thought that dark silhouettes would look good against it. The middle flower is rubbed with Craft-T luster rub-ons, and the flower is popped up on foam. I added a butterfly stamped and embossed with silver on vellum. I wanted to stamp directly on the base, but they are very old clear stamps which probably need a good soapy wash to restore their cling, and it was slightly crooked so I added a popped-up sentiment instead, and am probably happier with it. Matted on black, added to a white base.

Great job with the color selection on this one Sabrina and I agree the bright colors work well with the dark silhouettes. Now I totally want to try this technique. Thank you so much for playing along this week.
