Those of you who know me, know that I don't use dp very much so this was super fun for me (I may start using it more).
This card is going to Jaime who fighting a large health battle. She loves the outdoors so I have flowers and some leaves. I wanted to use a cute critter but the Rooted in Nature stamp set grabbed me when I went into the stamp closet.
There were some suggested sketches and I originally had this card looking something like one of them and then a cherry cobbler inky finger print happened on my dotted paper (there is some cherry cobbler stamped leaves inside). The sketch then had to morph a bit to cover it up. Oh well, I like it even though it is a bit different for me.
Hugz and sorry I am late to the party!

This is so beautiful! The DPs look great together. The glittered leaves are such a wonderful embellishment. Really lovely card. Thanks for stopping by my gallery and leaving your sweet comments.

Lovely papers and gorgeous leaves.
I'm not a sketch person myself, but I do find them great for encouraging me to use up DP! Didn't manage it this time, though. I especially like the script piece, it looks great with the big bold sentiment on it.
