Oops. I read Polly's challenge and thought a sketch and patterned paper was right up my alley! And then I got distracted looking for a cute animal bundled up for the winter and a nice outdoorsy scene for Jamie and I forgot all about both the sketch and the patterned paper. I also meant to fill in some stitches on the scarf with a colored pencil to give it a more knitted look. I'll do that after my Enamel accents dry.
So I just couldn't resist buying this forest scene stamp during Unity's big sale. You know how much I like to create cute scenes and this is just perfect for me. I decided I wanted this all to be one layer, so I printed out the fox and sentiment digis and masked them off before stamping the woods. Then I just colored it all up with my markers, popped it up on a kraft card base and finished with Enamel Accents snow. I really love this card and I hope Jamie does too.

Sheesh, I'm glad I have two forest backgrounds and can resist another one - but it's fab, and a gorgeous setting for your cute deer. Great sentiment choice - it works so well with the image as there are times for all of us that we can't "see the wood for the trees".

Jen, this bundled up fox walking through the woods is as cute as cute can be, but it is your wonderful sentiment that will touch Jamie's heart the most! I love the added snowflakes too because there is something truly peaceful about walking through the woods when it is snowing lightly. ~Karen.
