Jean aka naturecoastcrafter is this weeks guest hostess for the tea party with the theme of feathers.
This lovely angel, colored with copics, has dimensional feathers, by fussycutting an additional layer and adhering over the stamped image & metallic diecut frame.
The background is a 3D EF with DOX Pumice Stone swiped over the folder before adding CS and running through Sidekick, giving the embossed piece an aged/vintage feel to pair with the Angel.
The diecut wreath was first stenciled with Sabrinaâs technique- stretch your stencil- Tone on tone. The tone (pumice stone DOX on light gray CS) is almost a match, but can be seen IRL.
The diecut sentiment was heat embossed with pink pearl EP and the holly berries was colored with metallic gel pen.
Thanks Jean for the fun challenge!

Oh, this is beautiful. Your angel was an inspired choice for feathers, and the framing is fantastic. So is your beautiful embossed background, like some ornate plasterwork.

Jeannie, this is such a gorgeous card and so perfect for showcasing feathers too! There is a saying that if you find a feather, that an angel is nearby. I have always loved knowing that. This sophisticated color palette adds to the elegance of this truly gorgeous card Jeannie. ~Karen.

This is my absolute favorite in the gallery this week. I love angels on Christmas cards because they were God's messengers who brought the glad tidings to the earth. I love you angel image, the silver frame around her and embossing and the wreath. Great subtle colors on this. A little masterpiece.
