Our Featured Stamper, sanitystamper, has such a lovely gallery! I was inspired by this snowglobe card, because I just bought this sweet owl snowglobe stamp from Unity. I couldn't resist their big sale. I blame Sabrina, because she has this cute owl and she makes magic with it. Anyway, I always need that little push to make a shaker card, so Krista inspired me. I sprayed my background with Distress Resist spray and then sponged on the blues. Also splattered some water and I really like the way it came out. I stamped the snowglobe and scanned it into my ScanNCut. Then I cut it out of the blue background. Then I scanned it in again and actually cut the image. I colored it in and cut it in half. So the owl is inside the shaker, but the base of the snowglobe is out front. Yes, this makes two "Owl Always Love You" cards in one week for me. This one is handlettered. This weeks challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday is Recycle. You know that's one of my favorite topics. So I added a scrap of ric-rack that my mom sent over from her Raggedy Ann dolls and a black cord that came with my kid's glowstick from Halloween.
