This week we are sending cards to Jeannie's (Luv2grdn) mom, trying to bring her cheer as she moves to a new home right before the holidays.
I'm afraid I only got about 6 of the 12 challenge items (green, additional colors of blue and black, trees, Santa and stars, which is the item not on the list), but it was fun trying!
I used a retired Hero Arts kit to create the die cut scene and Distress Inks on the die cuts and to create the night sky. Santa was stamped flying across the sky and a white gel pen was used to create stars in the sky and to add reflection of the moon on the scene below.

Oh my goodness Stef this is jaw dropping stunning! Your scene is mesmerising with the white refelctions. I'm sure there are lots of presents in Santa's sleigh and Santa is wearing a red suite, so that makes 8 and definitely worthy of extra cookies. Thanks for adding this magical night scene to our teaparty.

Stef, Your mountain scene is absolutely breathtaking and the moonlite night sky feels magical! I love how you snowcapped your mountains and I forget what an impact a white gel pen can do to create dimension.
Your mountain scene will remind my mom of the Vosges mountain range on the east side of France near her hometown. I was lucky to see these mountains on a visit to Mom's homeland in 2004.
Thanks so much for creating this heartwarming beauty of a card for Mom.
Warm hugs!
