Today is another episode in hotel room cardmaking. I'm in Connecticut for a work meeting and this was not a very easy traveling sketch. I packed a bunch of random die cuts, backgrounds and goodies that I've saved and I just browsed through them this morning to see what spoke to me. This wood heart picture, "dream", and background came on a bulletin board that I bought earlier this year. I just thought they were lovely and I kept them. I paired them with a heart die cut from a Spellbinders card kit that I bought on clearance recently and a Distress inked stitched circle that I had saved from another card. The strips for the sketch were tough but luckily I packed some washi tape. I cut the gold glitter washi tape in half and lined them up the best I could. Then I popped up the main panel and the "dream" on foam squares.

I really like all the different elements in your card design. I think “scrap pieces” can often make the most interesting cards! And isn’t fun that we can use them!
