Our Try a New Technique this week is a must try. Thank you Lyn, for embedding the Jennifer McGuire video. Really excellent. I created 4 panels. Both of my first generation prints turned out well. I need to probably use less water next time...will have to see.
This card used the French Brocade rubber background from Stamp Francisco. I, very randomly 'slopped' ink onto the watercolor paper, embossed in clear. The background was so pretty, I decided to use this wonderful silhouette. She was stamped onto Black cs and embossed with clear. I fussy cut her, added the Hero Arts pocketbook and the phrase 'stay simple'.
That's it! I hope you will give this a go. It was fun, even if my second prints are not as crisp. I'll make a card soon to show. And experiment more...can't wait to stroll the gallery.

Oh wow your bg with the brocade turned out wonderful! And that silhouette is really neat...in the photo it appears to have a speckled look..or is it just the shine? Fab design and so you!

Well done! Even though one would assume your lady is facing us, this image could also read as if she were walking away with her bag behind her.Very cool.
