More details on my blog Kath's Blog-Everyday Life Of A Crafter
I began by washing out empty Idea-ology Design Tape Tubes, removed the labels and the left over sticky residue and dried. I die-cut 3 snowflakes per container from Simon Says Stamp Silver Glitter paper using the Kate snowflake. I adhered the snowflakes to the containers using Distress Crackle Paint and left to dry overnight. I painted the tops of the lids with Tumbled Glass Distress Paint and while the paint was still wet, sprinkled with Distress Rock Candy Clear Glitter. I filled the containers with mints, fitted the lids and added Idea-ology Design Tape around the tops to hide the inner section of the lid which I didn't paint just in case, with the extra coats of paint, the lid wouldn't fit back into the container.
I die-cut tags from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas 2019 Paper Stash using the starter kit that came with the Sizzix Sidekick
I pencilled around the inside of the tag die on to scraps of Distress Watercolor card, cut out and inked the edges with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink using a mini round blending tool.
I stamped the images from Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous Seasonal Scribbles inked with Fired Brick and Black Soot Distress Archival inks and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.
I sprayed Idea-ology Woodland Mini Trees with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink
I applied Grit Paste with my finger to the tips of the trees, fixed to the lid along with white pom poms using Distress Collage Medium Matte. I tied the tags to the container handle with Red Bakers Twine and added "25" die-cut from red Idea-ology Classic Kraftstock using Alphanumeric Label Thinlits and Ice Crystal Sequins.
