Be still my heart! Fashion, Windows, Flowers, Doors what awesome challenges this week with the Ways to Use It (Window Shopping) and the Free4 All (Thank You-Thankful). I think I brought all those above to the challenges today. And I found this wonderful Vintage Window Display. Also inspiration window. And Christmas Dress by Cook22.
I used Green Pepper Press arched doorway. Stamped three times on acetate. I didn't worry about being too precise. I wanted it to have a vintage feel. The mannequin was such fun! It is a Stamper's Anonymous image. I used VersaFine 'Olympic Green' and embossed in clear. The feet were done in 'Onyx Black'. The flower dress was created with TH Poinsettia stamps and die cut. I used the TH distress markers direct to the stamp to color the flowers. Added the micro mini beads for the centers and the snippet of gold stretchy band around the waist. The sentiment is behind the third doorway. I stamped on a pink cs and embossed with Super Fine Detail Gold ep.
It says, Let there be for every pulse a thanksgiving,
and for every breath, a song. K VonGesner
Thanks to Sabrina and Shirley for inspiring me. It was such fun. Happy weekend everyone!

Oh, I love the way you switched the pine boughs for poinsettia, still Christmas and obviously inspired. And your background architecture is truer to the location where I took the photo than you could have known - especially within the Guinness site where the older part feels as if you'd walked back a century or more. I'm glad you had such fun with this.

Wonderful, shaped Christmas card with the vintage bg and that fantastic poinsettia skirted dress, Susan. You always put a lot of thought into your creations.

Friend, you make a masterpiece of any theme given to you and always include words of truth, encouragement, or humor. BTW, you might even do well at fashion design as this dress is a knockout for the holiday season!!!
