My friend Liz adopted a new kitten this week! I was so excited to be able to make her this card! She adopted a feral kitten that was born on a pig farm. So Sabrinaâs challenge was daunting for this task. But I searched the internet and found the perfect inspiration for my card. This Coach window with the three pigs carrying purses has just the right amount of celebratory tone. I went straight for these pigs in bow ties and stretched a couple of them taller or wider and flipped one so that they didnât all look identical. Thatâs what I love about digis. Then I posed them to be revealing the kitten, Lenny Brisco. Liz loves pink glitter, so I used that paper in the background and I cut a few banner dies in different scraps of paper. I also printed out âWelcome, Lenny Briscoâ at an angle so I could draw a draped banner and cut that out with my ScanNCut. Oh boy, did I have fun making this card. Thanks for the challenge that really made me have to think and stretch, Sabrina! This card is way more fun because of it!

I am smiling so much here - kudos to you for finding such a wonderful shop window that so perfectly fitted the card you needed to make today. And kudos to your friend for adopting a feral kitten, the lucky thing. My sister has one that she feeds regularly, and at some stage they caught him and took him to be "doctored", and he didn't seem to mind that. But she was saying that they brought him into the house recently for a couple of days when the weather got colder, and now he barely comes down the back garden steps anymore, so they have to go and feed him up there. But he still sits beside them on the garden bench. He obviously didn't want to be an indoor cat!
This is so fun and celebratory with all that sparkle and the banners. Great work flipping and stretching the pigs so that they all look different. Your friend will just love this.

What a cute card for your friend! Love how you changed some of the pigs so they would not all look the same. Your Kittie might think he is one of the pigs! Your friend should love this card.

Your mind, Jen, your mind.....you must always be thinking of interesting things. This is toooooo much fun, no idea that you could do all that with digis. I'm not very good with altering things. And I'm not up on certain tv shows, had to look up Lenny Briscoe. I know, I live under a rock. If it's not on PBS....I'm turning into my grandma.
