I had to think about this one, Polly, as we don't really have a lot of traditions here. Then I thought of the treasured time, on Christmas morning, when we swap gifts with each other. Christmas Day is shared with members of the extended family and this is the time spent with just DH, myself, our sons & DIL. This year we will have our little grandson, too!
My card was inspired by one made by Roberta for the Fan Club Gallery -

Very cute...love the washi tape on the bg..I need to do that (I have so much washi). That's a wonderful tradition... being together, opening gifts, reflecting on all the previous holidays. And you have such a special gift this year...a new baby. I'm sure it'll be a lovely time.

We use to swap gifs with family when we would visit the farm when my husband's grandparents owned the tree farm. Sure miss going to the farm to see family.

Sue, your card is lovely and has a clean and crisp look which is wonderful. You are indeed going to have an extra special Christmas this year with your grandson added to the family circle.
