Thank you, Judy, for bringing us a 'taste' of being at Lydia's October retreat with this Still Stencil Technique. It's a perfect TLC in the middle of our Falliday Fest too! The video you included actually was helpful and short (bonus)!
I chose A Colorful Life stencil called 'Stonework'. The pattern reminded me of Frank Lloyd Wright's windows and wood casings. I selected three colors of Brushos. Moss Green, Black, and Brown. was hoping for a very wood hued mixing of color. What I got with my heavy finger tapping was overwhelming black in my Still Stencil. Not a deal breaker, because looking through the stonework reminded me of the fabulous pictures of our universe that I see every day on Astronomy Picture of the Day. It's a nice pause and a chance to learn something about the vastness of our world. I added the sentiment 'there's a world outside your window.
I am adding this to the CAS559~Going Vertical. Thanks to Humma for a perfect chance to use my Still Stencil panel.
Can't wait to peruse the galleries. Looking out my windows to the www for creativity. Thank you for your comments.

Yes I discovered that 'heavy fingers' thing too, moreso on the other technique on the video, which is fun too. As long as I'm making a mess......I love your vertical panel, i still see FLW.
