I stamped the image onto vellum bristol paper with Fog ink. I then colored it with my colored pencils, & added shimmer to the snow & bow.
For the background, I actually flipped the sketch horizontally, so my mailbox wasn't "facing" off the right edge of the card. I measured the angles in the sketch for the patterned paper strips with my protractor. (Yes, I have a protractor, and yes, I'm that geeky! LOL) I transferred those measurements to my patterned paper (from my scrap stash), making sure to keep the text facing the right way. I cut the longer strip with my scissors, because the paper wouldn't fit in my trimmer. I adhered that in place on my background, & trimmed off the overhanging bits with scissors. I cut the smaller piece, adhered it, and trimmed off the excess. I adhered my focal image, and that finished this easy-to-do card! The hardest part was actually figuring out how to position the strips, since my version was "backwards" from the sketch.

Terrific image and colored so beautifully. I love mailboxes, especially since I don't have one. Great job with the sketch and the Falliday challenges. Love it!
