The weekends don't tend to allow me much stamping time these days, but a power-cut meant that my attic was the brightest room in the house and I had some internet access on my phone, so I decided to play along with Angie's IC challenge.
I used the second thumbnail from the left, third row down. The curve and shape of the coloured stripe on the left made me think of feathers, so I pulled out some feather stamps and ran with the colours in the photo. The lefthand feather is stamped with the blue ink and embossed, then coloured with watercolours.The middle feather was stamped with grey, embossed and coloured. The one on the left was simply stamped but not embossed. I used the matching dies with each set. Added a Dymo sentiment. The base is embossed with Taylored Expressions Weathered, and I added a strip of herringbone as well.

Sabrina, your feathers are done in such beautiful colors. I like that you added that herringbone ef strip....seemed to really draw attention even more to the feathers.

this is so pretty, Sabrina! I love the brightly colored feathers on the embossed white bg. So happy you had a chance to join in..but sorry about the power!
