For the Inspiration Challenge weâre headed to Ruby Mountain & I chose THIS as my inspiration.
The round shape of the earrings & white snow falling reminded me of this new Snow Globe die I have & wanted to use. I die cut a couple of trees & the larger one on the left, I snipped it out of the oval frame it comes in. Thinned white acrylic paint was used to paint the snow on them & when dry, I added some ink & embossed them w/ a sparkly white powder. I used part of a snowflake frame image to add the embossed falling snow. For the greeting, I stamped it onto a piece of white shrink plastic w/ Stazon & heated it. A larger metallic blue layer was added behind the snow globe to go w/ the stand of the snow globe. On the deckle frame, I swiped a dark blue ink along the inside & outside edges & heat embossed w/ a blue satin powder & purposely left the little specks of powder here & there.
Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & product links are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Wow! Julie, that is a gorgeous snow globe with those beautiful, snow covered trees and pretty red birds. The globe stand is so pretty and I love your framing. Your card is a beauty.
