I just love Dinaâs Falliday Fest challenge. I never think to add faces to things, but doesnât a smiling face make everything better? I browsed through my stamps and decided that this scallop shell could use a smile. So I stamped it using the rock n roll technique with Antique Linen and Tea Dye DOX inks. Then I stamped a face onto it. Fussy cut, burnished, popped it up and added Nuvo Dream Drops. Then I drew a seaweed shape and scanned it into my ScanNCut and used that pattern to cut seaweed out of a gelli print background that I had hanging around. Tore a strip of sandpaper for the ground and started to assemble the card when I realized it was boring with a white background. So I went back to my backgrounds stash and found this one left over from Lydiaâs DTGD challenge. This was really fun to make, but playing along with all these Falliday Fest challenges keeps making me late to work!

Aw he's cute. Like your seaweed too and it's great you had a BG ready to go! Sandpaper is a great idea. I got some actual sand years ago but then balked.

I thought that BG looked like Lydia's old challenge from DTGD. It works perfect and I agree a smile on anything is fantastic. Great seaweed you drew and added with your gelli prints, super clever and perfect for your fun little scene Jennifer.

Well now that you are the big poobah with the fancy title (FCSA??), you can probably be late once in a while. Such a cute little face for that scallop.
