This is for today's MMTPT (for Steve, who got hurt working at a farm and loves silly stuff) and for yesterday's CAS. Jen challenged us to include something with the letter 'F' on our card. Well, actually I included something with FCAS, Jen's title: faux barn board technique; chicken; the letter 'A' at the beginning of the sentiment; silliness.
I chose the faux barn board technique. Takes a little time...I had trouble with some areas of glue drying too quickly while others stayed tacky. I guess it turned out ok, would have liked more 'cracks' or even half-cracks. hahahahahaha. I fussy cut the chicken. 'A true friend is one who thinks you're a good egg even if you are half-cracked.' Inside says: 'Always look at life sunny side up.'

ya cooked up such a true sentiment! Steve's gonna be encouraged with this lighthearted card. I really like the monotones and the barn wood. I cracked some eggs for
lunch...always sunny side up!

Fab card and perfect sentiments. I tried that barn technique and mine did not turn out...it's a tricky one. I'm sure Steve will get a charge out of your card.

Oh man, I have struggled so much with that technique. I don't know how many different white glues I have tried - and I never thought to write down which one worked best for me. I think you got a good look with yours even if it wasn't quite what you were hoping for. What a super fun sentiment, too. A great masculine card.
