This is for my challenge: a Happy New Year card, no Christmas images
I had this background, done with the same Carabelle stamp but it wasn't very distinct so I restamped on top with the black. Also stamped a grandfather clock and a regular clock in black (hard to see the grandfather on the left). After I restamped the Carabelle circle, I realized it was backwards. Oh well, she says. I imagine we all, at some point in our lives, would like to turn back time. My daughter graduated high school in 2000. How is it 2020 next year?????? I added some stars using the expanding mousse through stencils. My main image has the mousse around the edges. I think it's funny that the New Year baby is sort of messing with Old Man Time, who is having a well deserved rest.

this is a feast for the eyes! Love the bg, the huge clock and yes, I do see the grandfather clock. A wonderful way to bring in the New Year...and indeed, time flies!
