Literal fire! I have been wanting to try this technique, and I have lots of porcelain ornament blanks. Basically you drop on some alcohol ink, add rubbing alcohol and then set the whole thing on fire, and the fire moves and blends the ink as it burns off the excess alcohol. You can do multiple layers if you're not happy with the coverage. I added just a little speckling afterwards with a fine mist of rubbing alcohol. Very fun technique.
