This is my sample for CC764. Karen is our hostess and she chose old olive, pool parties and poppy parade for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is silver accents.
I went for a Christmas design with these colors. My truck is a new Christmas die from CottageCutz- Farm Truck w/Tree. I cut it in poppy parade and then sponged poppy parade around the truck for a bit deeper red shade.
The hubcaps are cut in silver cardstock to cover the dessert option and the door handle is cut in pool party.
Since we can use the Stampin Up neutrals of choice, the background designer paper with night of navy and mossy meadow worked for me. You can check out all the other neutrals here. The designer paper is part of the "Night Before Christmas" collection.
My Merry Christmas sentiment is another CottageCutz die and is cut in poppy parade and again I sponged poppy parade ink to get a deeper red shade.
I cut a small slope and added chunky glitter to give the truck a grounding spot.
To finish off my card, I added a couple of pool party enamel dots. I hope you can play along with us this week. The other DT members have some great samples to get your mojo going.

What a great Christmas card Mary! The tree lot with the red pick up and the lights against the night sky is just a quintessential Christmas scene. I totally love this!!!
