It's still Fall, ya'll! Thanks to ScrappinCEO, Kelly. She has issued all us TeaPotters a challenge to bring Fall to the party! What great timing too....our very own SCS Falliday Fest opens tomorrow!
My card has lots of Fall love. I had collected the Paper Bark peeling on a recent walk. It was dried naturally has still have give in it. I die cut a few leaves and thought the negative would look as good as the other paper leaves. I used a dictionary page from a 1957 Student Dictionary. Of course I tore out the 'leaf' page. Laid down some color on the edges with Chalk Box 'Moss' Ink. The other leaf (a birch) was cut from a Brusho scrap and a small piece of the leaf illustration filled in the rest of the leaf.
I loved the Leave the everyday sentiment. I guess I want to live above the everyday. The marvelous base paper is part of an old Memory Box 'Twiggy' 6x6 paper group.
Can't wait to visit the gallery and see all the interpretations of our challenge. Thanks for stopping by...

Glad I'm not the only one who picks up birch bark and brings it home!. Love the way you incorporated it into your card with its natural curl. The dictionary entries make great leaves. Like the scale of them. Mine seem to get tinier with each purchase! Super fall card Susan!
