My partner in crime, One4Joy (Susan), sent me this image and we agreed we would both do a card the same day with the same challenge. IC, you are IT!!!!!!! This is what inspired me: https://www.acornonline.com/cgi-bin/...IL&ITEM=HY5482
I love Acorn and all things UK.
This image reminded me of a group I used to be involved with called The Grandsons and Granddaughters of the Pioneers, modeled after The Sons of the Pioneers. The guys dressed in cowboy paraphernalia and sang cowboy songs and the ladies dressed in long black skirts, white blouses and hats and sang Temperance songs, shaking our fingers at those lowdown cowboys. We had a blast!
I think these guys are the Dads of the Sons of the Pioneers. I mounted them on an embossed black background, having rubbed Versamark all over and sprinkled on four different eps. The folder has an oval shape frame in the middle, I embossed another one, cut it out to make the Bones Brothers stand out more. You'll notice the base player has a cowboy hat on. This band loves to cover Hank William's tunes so I added his 'I'm So Lonesome, I Could Cry', except changed the word to 'DIE!!!!!!!!!' Happy Day of the Dead!!!!!!! Unfortunately Hank died at a very young age.
By the way, my favorite tv channel is PBS and I watched the country music series by Ken Burns. It won't turn me into a country fan, except for a few tunes, but it was very interesting and well done. I LOVE PBS!!!!
