What a fun Inspiration site this week! Thanks Julie. Not only did I take inspiration from this giant skelton, but I shopped there as well...more on that in a minute...
Probably nobody has ever done this, grin...but when I just happened upon this stamp last month, I JUST had to add it to my stamp cellar. Some people might collect bottles of vintage wine or classic cars, but me...I'll just collect vintage wood and rubber, circa 1987! And today I present the Rollin' Bones (name courtesy of my DH). They are playing a special concert for The Day of the Dead. They were going to hit Halloween, but I just couldn't get 'em together in time.
An old Memory Box dp from 'Night Fall' was the perfect paper. And so it was only fussy cutting the band, embossing the left corner with a fancy brocade Tim Holtz EF, adding the Dynamo label banner proclaiming the official DAY of the DEAD! and answer the riddle.
Thanks for looking...and check JKanack's take on those walking musicians. I can't wait to see what her talent brought to the gallery.
PS: I couldn't resist this book! Guess I'm a person of a certain age...

I knew that book is what you bought....how did I know that???? Telepathy! Reed again shows his cleverness and helpfulness. That background paper is perfect...you are the queen of fussy cutting, never even thought of it. This was so much fun to collaborate, we'll do it again. Awesome!!!!!!

Ha....Rollin' Bones is the perfect name for that band. Tell your DH he did good. I showed your card to my hubby and he had a chuckle and really liked your guys. In his younger days, he played in a band...thankfully, he did not look like this. HAHA Your paper is perfect.
