When I chose this week's colors I had a completely different card in mind but in looking for those stamps I came across this one. I needed an anniversary card for my hubby so....
I used the Coastal Cabana to create a watercolor wash background. Then I flicked both water and straight ink to give it some additional texture.
The girl is colored using the Lovely Lipstick Stampin' Blends and Copic markers that I color matched for the Blueberry Bushel.
Finally I did something I haven't done in YEARS - I fussy cut her out! I did not have the die and it seemed like more work to get out my Scan 'n Cut than to just cut her out. It really wasn't hard because of her size and lack of outline complexity.
I hope that you join us in the challenge this week. I look forward to seeing what everyone creates!

What a wonderful idea to do an anniversary card with this challenge - and it turned out so great. You make the lovely watercolor wash look so effortless.

What a sweet card!! You did an awesome job fussing cutting. There is something I really like about fussy cutting. Nice job using the anchor and the wheel. :>)
