Today the teapotters are sending cards to JoEllyn, a friend of Precious Kitty. We are wanting to send encouragement and flowers.
I used an old stamp which is no longer available from MFP and Stamps for the flowers and sentiment. I did the background in gray flannel ink (sponged). The flowers were painted with acrylic paint. I used a needlepoint canvas stencil to add some interest to the background. I will add a Bible verse inside.

Wow, Brenda! The poppies are striking against the gray background, and you did a fabulous job of painting them with acrylic paint. The card is stunning and I love it!

Brenda, how beautiful. It's lovely to see flowers in white - the grey background is soft but provides enough contrast to let the flowers shine. I think it's absolutely lovely.

This is sooo pretty Brenda. I love these gorgeous white flowers you have painted in white ink (something I would not think to do myself). I also love the stenciling you did that adds wonderful interest to your card and draws your eye right to this lovely cluster of flowers. JoEllyn is going to be thrilled with this beautiful card you made for her. ~Karen.
