Today we are showering JoEllyn in Arkansas with flowers. Of course, I was stumped because I donât really do flowers (funnyâbecause I have a yard full of them and I really do love flowers!). This was a good opportunity to use the image that is another one that Iâve been stuck on. My New Yearâs resolution of using images Iâve never used is getting tougher. Iâve hit a bunch that I donât really like. But how could I get rid of them? What if I need this stamp some day? I have a plan. I will put it in a box down cellar and if I donât use it in the next year, itâs going. I donât know where itâs going to go, but itâs going to go.
Had a tough time with this weekâs colors. They were difficult to match with my Distress Oxdes and SN markers. I did my best. I hope the floral DP is close enough. Itâs covering up a disaster of a watercolor wash that looked so much better in my head.

Beautiful flower paper and I love the shell with flowers...reminds me of the beach and I know that would make my day brighter just thinking of it. Wonderful sentiment that I know JoEllyn will love. I know...that's why I never get rid of things I should....thinking what if I need that someday. HA

I really like your DP - and the image is a nice one. It makes me think of the nursery rhyme and Mary Quite Contrary's garden with cockle shells.
I have rarely missed things I've purged, and the only thing I remember pulling from my FreeCycle bag for a particular challenge got dumped another time and I haven't missed it since. But if you've got space - then keep things, for sure!

Everything about this is beautiful Jen (I think I have about 6 flower stamps LOL). The design is fabulous and the colour palette has a beautiful vintage feel to it.

You may have struggled but the end result certainly doesn't reflect such. The floral dsp and the lovely shell absolutely look so pretty together, it would never be apparent it wasn't a cohesive design from the beginning, at least to me!
I have purged soo many stamps (and other seldom used rafting items), either by donation or selling in a garage/craft sale, and it's been a very, very rare occasion that I've missed one in the future. I actually found it to be a great relief in doing so by alleviating clutter!
