Pat is our hostess for the Teapot Tuesday Showers of Flowers challenge, and we are sending our cards to JoEllyn.
With the challenge title, using Penny Black's Shower of Flowers was a no-brainer. I always used to get halo-stamping till I unmounted it, although I still keep it on the block because I love those stamps.
I stamped it and coloured with Polychromos, adding Stickles to the flower centres. I dry-embossed a frame with a circle die and sponged both the inside and out with blue with the die still in place. Added a Scripture from Verve. Waiting for a transplant isn't easy, sometimes it's hard to keep trusting that God is in control. I edged it with a black Sharpie and added it to a green base.

What a sweet image...I haven't seen that one before. I love how you sponged around the little critter..it really highlights your image. And that scripture is perfect....the waiting for a transplant has to be a true test of faith and patience.

Sabrina, such a lovely card with that sweet mouse showering down flowers on whoever is below him! The scripture verse is perfect, too. I'm sure your card will bring a smile to JoEllyn's face.

What a truly happy card this is Sabrina. This darling little mouse looks like it is having so much fun dispersing all these colorful flowers. I love how you made a circle panel to highlight your images by too. This is such a comforting verse I know JoEllyn will truly appreciate this happy/encouraging card you made for her. ~Karen.

Your flower shower is precious Sabrina. Everything about this is so special. I love reading your process and was so surprised to read the black mat, isn't matting at all, you did it with a Sharpie!

This is such a sweet shower of flowers. I know I have this stamped tucked safely away somewhere. Time to dig it out again after seeing this cheerful little card.
