Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she is in the spirit of the season with her colors: Merry Merlot, Cajun Craze and Daffodil Delight. The dessert option is Thanksgiving or Fall.
I've had this adorable digi from Mo Manning for a long time, just waiting for the perfect season and occasion. I printed out the kitten and leaf, colored them with Copic Markers, and mounted in a scallop frame cut from Merry Merlot cardstock.
To make my brick wall, I used embossing paste and two drops of Cajun Craze ink. Mixed thoroughly and spread through the brick stencil with a palette knife. I added seam binding, silver cord and two leaf sequins to give a little sparkle and shine.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

You've really captured the sunny yellow I saw in the leaves we've been seeing the past weekend here in Minnesota. the whimsical cat is perfect in this sunny setting.

What an imaginative idea to use the Cajun brick wall behind sweet kitty trying to catch the falling leaves. And great coloring of that darling Mo Manning digi! So, so cute Barbara!
