This card really morphed. I started with the tag. For another project I had stamped off an image on glossy cardstock. I decided there was enough of it showing that I could smooth around it with distress oxides, and rubbed away to reveal some of the musical notes. Then I over stamped with another musical background using the blue distress oxide. I used this second stamp do do a background with distress oxide on white cardstock. I die cut images from several SU die sets and one magazine freebie die to place behind the tag. These and the base of the tag are SU copper cardstoCk. The tag is raised on pop dots. The whole thing is on a Navy card. I had tried to heat emboss a copper sentiment but it didn't work, so I used a very small word stamped in StazOn on a scrap of the copper heat embossed cardstock. This was a whole day project, I would do a bit, go away, come back and solve the next problem. If I had them, I would add a bit of dots of something copper, but I'm calling it sort of finished for now. Going to go see what challenges this will fit in. Monday note...I added some teeny tiny punched copper hearts on the top are of the tag and on the top corner of the background. I can't figure out how to change the photo without having to do the whole thing from scratch, so you'll have to imagine it, Y~"

What a nice mixed media card this is Vannie. I applaud you for sticking with this card and seeing it through to the finish line. Some cards are like this in the making, but they almost always are our better cards in the end. I love the colors you used with the mix of copper elements. I need to do more mixed media, but tend to shy away from it. You are inspiring me to dip my toe in the water again. ~Karen.
Oh my sis this is absolutely gorgeous. Red and blue is such a big part of me and my ohanas lives . All 4 of my kids High school color was Blue and Red and everyone one of my 3 boys play JR Varsity and Varsty Football and throughout their years their school was the powerhouse of football in this state! And my only daughter was a cheerleader . So the colors were worn a lot and many things were those colors in our lives :0)
