There was a time when the typical ornaments on a Christmas tree were from a company called Shiny Brite. Glass balls of various shapes, sizes, and colors. I still have some and have a few of the Shiny Brite boxes too. This is what inspired me: https://www.oprahmag.com/life/g29114...deas/?slide=30
(if the picture doesn't work, it's on the Christmas page, 35 Stunning Christmas trees, the Shiny Brite tree #35)
I used Kristina Werner's tutorial from 2017. Midway through cutting all the trees, one of the dies flipped off the cutting plate. Do you think I can find it? First time using it too. I even got a flash light to look all over the place. Sigh. Basically the technique is watercolor smooshing with baggies and plastic wrap, making the plastic wrap wrinkle so you get a little texture. I have enough trees cut to make about three more cards. I love this look.

I think I have seen Shiny Brite or remember them. I love your trees with designs from the plastic wrap....so pretty. Oh, I hope you find your die cut. I have gotten out the flashlight many times to catch a gleam on my missing dies. Ugh

I remember those ornaments, too...I'm sure we had some. Your little trees are darling..those colors and subtle patterns you achieved are yummy. The CAS design is perfect. Hope you find that die...I know how frustrating that is.
Oh! Your trees look like expensive soaps or a candy treat! Definitely a treat for the eyes. OH ugh! So sorry your tree escaped! I hope you find it. I hate when that happens. I have lost the word die BELIEVE. :( I am pretty sure it ended up in the trash. Sad. Anyway. I love your cards!

Love this! The colors are fantastic, and I like all the different shapes. Sorry you dropped a die! I have a huge magnet I use to find dropped dies, pins, etc. maybe that will work for you?
