I've combined Cathy's "Just Saying" challenge with Chris's color challenge (with heat embossing for dessert). I needed another card for my friend, Adugna, who is leaving MetLife for another job. We ran out of room in the first card. I sponged the background with the appropriate colors and splattered with water. Then I stamped tall grass with navy. I drew in a line to ground the alligator which I also stamped with navy and then heat embossed with clear. I used the clear embossing on my speech bubble and popped them both up on the card.
P.S. Got my new computer and it's amazing! But it may take me weeks to reinstall all my fonts. Font collector problems...

Love your little alligator popping out from those color challenge colors.
So adorable.

What a great card for your co-worker and super scene for the image too. I know what you mean about reinstalling everything from an old computer. I upgraded almost a year ago and still have a few things that I have not reinstalled...need to get that going soon.

Ooh, lovely colours in that sky and I recognised the grass straight away ;-). Such a sweet alligator waving goodbye, too.
I try to keep downloaded fonts (and brushes) in a special folder so that even though they're installed in the system, they also get included in my backup and are always there to restore from. I learned the hard way...

What a fun card for your coworker. Great use of the colors and love that gator, mf!

Love your sponged background colors for your alligator, Jen! I used to use that little quip as my first graders would leave school at the end of the day.

Great use of that alligator (I have very fond memories of that guy!) and I especially love the look of those waves of tall blue grass against the blended oxides. Beautiful!
