Featured Stamper Diana Gibson - what an amazing gallery!
Our last kid moved out and we now have an empty nest. It's time to re-carpet and paint the bedrooms. I have been busy packing up my craft room in preparation. It's a huge task but also a terrific time to take inventory, organize, and set some things aside for donation. I know it will be worth it in the end.
I did leave out my unfinished projects and left-overs from previous cards, in case the creative urge hit me. This gorgeous card of Diana's inspired me to create with some pieces left over from a Color Challenge and Christmas in July card.
On my panel, I had stamped the ornament in Bermuda Bay & VersaMark inks and heat-embossed in a sparkly powder. I stamped the bow in Pretty Peacock. I stamped a second ornament in Pretty Peacock & VersaMark and heat-embossed. Today, I punched out the center and then glued it on the Bermuda Bay ornament. The sentiment is silver heat embossed. I had used a sparkle pen to outline the bow and draw a line down to the bow to hang the ornament. On a Smokey Slate piece, I dry-embossed with Tin Tile EF and swiped some shimmery paint on top. Today, I did the trimming and layering. The top panel was matted with Pretty Peacock, onto the embossed piece and then on a Bermuda Bay card base. It is so sparkly!
Thank you Diana for sharing your awesome cards and for inspiring me to create today. Thanks for looking.
