Thanksgiving (and Christmas) in my family includes a non-traditional pie because my dad loved my grandma's apple pie so much. It stuck and became tradition! I made my card in the All-American apple pie colors, but the true color of the apples just wasn't colorful enough for my card! So I made a cherry pie instead. Not sure which family member I'll send this card to, yet.
Ways to Use It Challenge:
Rough - burlap, faceted red rhinestones
Smooth - sheer ribbon
There's time to enter a card. (Thursday at 8pm EST) Right now there is a special coupon for $5 dollars off $15 or more. It's not too late to get digital images! (I'm not affiliated with Power Poppy in any way. Just being friendly Y~0/00)

What a lovely comforting look this has, full of memories of a kitchen full of festive baking. I prefer apple pie to eat but the cherry pie certainly makes a great card. The burlap is perfect here.

Well this is fun! I always, ALWAYS love pale blues with red, so this really makes me smile. The burlap and colors in the rolling pin and pie crust are just enough to balance everything beautifully - perfect card!

Cute image and a perfect reference to your pie lattice with the burlap. My Mom and I used to decorate cakes but I married into a pie family. Not my forte and I remind myself with a sigh that says, "I am smarter than my pie crust". I will have to make a card about that!

We always have apple, cherry and pumpkin......and if we're really lucky, Erin makes a pecan. My favorite meal!! Your card is wonderful, with the texture added by the burlap!
