Created for the October Crafters of Faith Challenge; challenge hostess is Kim.
Scripture: Ps 139: 13-14
"You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother's womb. I praise you, because I am wonderfully made; wonderful are your works! My very self you know."
Challenge is this: make a card for a pregnant woman (baby shower?) or for a newborn baby...or go to the other end of the spectrum and make a card for an 80th birthday party or 50th wedding anniversary, something for older people.
I made a birthday card for my Father-in-Law who will be 91. I thought the bird with the bow tie and derby suited the era he was born. I marveled at how long ago God formed Dad in his mom. We tend to look at people how they are now and it's hard to imagine who they were as kids or young men in the service.
Thanks for this challenge, it gave me many warm memories of dad.
I stamped watercolored and cut out the bird. I stamped the sponge shapes then heat embossed with UTEE and my heat tool. I added the dsp and layered the image and frame. Lastly I stamped and added the sentiment.
