Made this for a guy at work who loves cars and doing home improvement work. It was hard to come up with a way to put such different hobbies on the same card -- but a couple of months ago I made a baby card with this kind of patchwork layout, and it worked perfectly to make the card cohesive.
The hardest thing was making a "see-through" looking windshield. I took the lightest Spectrum Noir blue pen I had and then used the blender pen generously to remove most of the color. The Sakura clear glaze pen worked well on the glass and shiny metal elements of the car and traffic light, and it was easy to use in small areas.
I also used paper piecing by diecutting a red layer of each half of the pliers and then cut it to make handles.

This guy card caught my eye. It's wonderful. And, the windshield on the car looks great.
