Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has given us a beautiful palette to work with: Rococo Rose, Mango Melody and Pear Pizzazz. The dessert option is "woodgrain."
I decided I wanted to play with my colored pencils this week, and pulled out the gray sketch paper I'd bought on the recommendation of someone on YouTube. I really like this product, but it is much thinner than I expected. Definitely paper, not cardstock. I stamped my image with VersaMark Ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. After coloring the image, I fussy cut out the design. Then it was just a matter of deciding on a simple layout, cutting the DS papers, and assembling. I added a few gemstones for a little sparkle.
ETA: No vellum on this card! It's gray sketch paper by Strathmore!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Just beautiful! Love the soft colors of the flower and the bg of wood!
