This is my card for CC759. Karen is our hostess and she chose mango melody, rococo rose and pear pizzazz for her color trio. Dessert Option this week is woodgrain.
Summer 2019 is one for the history books now, so I decided to try and make a fall card with these colors. I need cards for Thanksgiving sending.
I used the Grapevine Wreath die from CottageCutz to create my card. I cut some of the leaves in mango melody and then sponged them with merry merlot (a new Stampin Up neutral) to give them more of a fall look. The other 2 leaves are cut in pear pizzazz and sponged with the same ink to darken them.
I used kraft cardstock (neutral) for the grapevine wreath and sponged that with distress walnut stain. For the acorns, I used baked brown sugar (neutral) and again sponged with distress walnut stain.
To cover the rococo rose color, I cut a bow from that cardstock. I finished off this card by adding a few more leaves and stamped my sentiment.
Hope you can play along with us this week.

This is such a pretty autumn card, complete with twig wreath, rose ribbon and leaves and acorns. Lovely shading on the elements to give depth and dimension to the scene!

What a lovely card Mary!!! Your wood grain bg is a great bg to a beautiful fall card. I love the grapevine wreath, and the leaves add warmth. Glad to see you were able to post. :>)
