I guess I put off making this flip flap card long enough. So I combined it with todayâs MIX challenge to use rubber bands. I spread paint over my gelli plate and wrapped rubber bands around my acrylic block. Made impressions on the plate with them and then pulled a few prints. You canât see the print that I used in this picture. Itâs hidden behind that front flap. But I also spritzed it with shimmer spray for a gold shine. Then I stamped off the paint off the rubber bands onto another piece of paper and used that for my front panel. I needed a 50th anniversary card for a fun-loving couple and I was sick of making boring shiny gold cards. So I used this fun Art Impression set and sent the special couple on a motorcycle adventure.

I hope that I'll still be able to get on the back of DH's bike in another x years! By then a sidecar might be a good option ;-). That band-stamped background looks great.
