I wanted to see how Scribble Sticks would work on a canvas, and it turned out that they worked great. The canvas is 5 x 7 in. You can also do this technique on a card or in a journal.
Start by applying texture paste through the stencil with a palette knife. When dry, coat with clear gesso. When dry, color with Scribble Sticks and use water and a paint brush to turn them into watercolor. Add shading with a Ground Espresso Distress Marker.
Stamp the background here and there with a script stamp. Add subtle metallic shine with metallic Scribble Sticks. Finally, stamp some small sentiments on the background and a larger one on a journaling card.
Thank you for looking!
Happy stamping!
