Sometimes my creations happen very organically; I'll do a technique, set it aside, keep some snippets from another project, even though most would toss them, look through a bin for a focal element, no real plan. That is what happened for today's sketch.
I really like the sketch. I had done a whole sheet for last week's TLC (stencil smooshing), but hadn't found a use yet. I decided to make it a rather important piece for today's sketch. Most of the stenciling is rather random but I did use the leaf stencil and sponged to give it less randomness. My muse led me to my handmade papers (not by me), I cut some strips and then found this baggie with skinny cut-offs from another project (I think it was something with ep and embossing folders). Also cut out some leaves from another handmade paper and created the circle item with those, some leftover strips and a Nippon postage stamp. Sequins finished it off. I'm quite pleased. Sometimes one just has to wait for the Muse.

awesome use of the Sketch. And I especially like the second layer...it looks so like fabric. You're right about the muse showing up...certainly not like 'on demand' programming! The way you used the leaf panel against the horizontal stripes is interesting.
