I forgot about dessert today, but I was happy to have some interesting colors to make this card. But I was not happy to make this card. My husbandâs uncle is home on hospice dying of cancer. So of course we have to send a card to bring some cheer to his last days and let him know that we are thinking of him when we canât be there with him. He has an old Harley that is his pride and joy, so I went online and found a Harley Davidson coloring page and colored it to look like his bike and cut it with my scanNCut. Had to add in âHarley Davidsonâ in tiny letters on the gas tank. I sponged the sky with Shea Butter and Potterâs Clay inks which is much more interesting than the blue sky that I would have been inclined towards. Then I die cut some rolling hills and stuck on a road. I think itâs a nice simple and masculine background for his sweet ride. Difficult to decide what to say on this card, so I went with a simple âloveâ sticker punctuated by some die cut black hearts. Inside, I used my stamp of the Mother Teresa quote âLove is a fruit in season at all times and within reach of every hand.â

Hard circumstances for the card but it turned out great and will surely be appreciated. I lived reading cards to my mom in her last days. It helped her so much to see how many people were thinking of and praying for her.
