Tickle a Teapotter's Week - As a former teacher, the beginning of a new year isn't January; it's September. (In Michigan, school usually doesn't start until after Labor Day.) I love everything about it: the cooler weather, apple orchards, new pencils with full erasers, etc.
Apples have become a symbol for a teacher, but there's something that probably likes them more. Bees.
CHALLENGE: Be inspired by bees. It can be actual bee images or simply black and yellow stripes.
EPEC: (extra points for extra cookies): Include some apple red color on your card
I'm so excited to be the guest hostess this week
I used Wink of Stella on the wings so I decided to add some rhinestones for a little more sparkle.

Those bees are adorable. I love that you used the hexagon patches, that was one of the ideas at the back of my mind. Such fun flowers, too. Thanks for a super challenge, Jen, I am really enjoying the gallery this morning.
