I really wanted to try Lydia's MIX from last week. Heaven knows I have plenty of gelli prints just hanging around to use...I chose this detailed tree stencil to paint around my gel print which was done on an old book page. I then traced a few birds from another stencil on another old gel print and cut those out. I added the phrase and some washi tape and pasted it in my art journal. FUN!l

Great mixed media piece, Polly. Your tree mask is so detailed, it must have been tricky enough to peel it all off. The text in the background really makes it, for me. And of course I love those blue birds.

Wow Pol this looks magic! I love the stencil you chose to highlight the fabulous background. The Geli plate birds look amazing and the sentiments are the icing on the cake. What a brilliant journal page, I can't stop looking at this!
