This card is for this week's S2S challenge where we are going DIY and using items found around the home for stamping/stencilling. It's also for the Ways to use it Challenge....wings.
On this card I printed a panel using several items found in the home and then die cut the panel into butterflies. I deliberately left some of the pieces in the butterflies as the colours and patterns were so yummy and in hindsight I should have left the paper as it was. It was tricky to die cut greaseproof (deli) paper and the butterflies are very delicate.
I decided to stamp the BG and sentiment and add some splatters.
TFL Happy day

Those butterflies are so pretty. I wonder if it was the coating on the deli paper that made it hard to cut or just the fact that it is thinner - I've found I need an extra sheet of scrap paper for "heft" when die cutting things like typing paper or book pages.

So beautiful- love your butterflies- and how much fun you had creating them (and staying out of trouble in the meantime...)! Love your perfect sentiment too!
