This card is for the Alpha challenge. L = 50 Leaps in Leaves.
This card is for a special friend on this site and I so hope that she doesn't see it LOL....if she does I hope that she knows that I picture her with her hat leaping over her paddocks (or is it fields) on her special day...whoohoo.
As green is her favourite colour I decided to colour the lady in green and as I believe every girl should have some sparkle in her life, I made the skirt (after designing it of course.....cough, cough) with die cut leaves. I did pinch this idea off Pinterest so I can't take credit for it.
The balloons were cut out of some alcohol panels that I made several weeks ago.
The card has some sparkle on it but the photo doesn't show it.
This card is now winging its way over the oceans and hopefully will arrive on time.
Ooh I so hope this doesn't spoil the surprise....eek.
TFL. Happy day

What a wonderful card, Jayne! Love the fabulous colourful balloons and the leaf skirt on this SU lady, very clever! Have had 2 wonderful days of rain, just a pity our country areas not getting the rain, too. Hi from the East~

What a great creation Jayne, even if you did get a bit of inspiration from Pinterest! I'm sure your card is much more amazing! I love the motion of the gal with the leaf skirt! You can feel the joy! Awesome card!

I enjoy your cards as much as I do your writeups! A "grass" leaf skirt is just brilliant and something I would never have thought to do. I love how these colorful balloons have lifted her high in the sky too. I kind of feel since turning 50 (a few years ago now) that my feet have not been firmly planted on the ground since. Ha! This is a terrific card and one your friend will adore. ~Karen.
