TLC759 - Judy is challenging us to use an uncomfortable color medium. Mine is watercolor! I hardly ever do it, I never know quite what paper to use or what side!! My w/c paints are grade school 8 colors from Crayola. I will say that I love them!!
CAS550 - KelliJo has use adding another brick. I love this brick wall ef from Sizzix by Tim

Your crocus' are colored beautifully - No need for you ever to fear water color when you can end up with results like this and they look fabulous set against the pristine white brick wall.

Karen, you made those Crayola water colors sing on this gorgeous crocus. I would never know you did not prefer to water color by looking at this gorgeous flower. I love the brick bg too! ~Karen.

What pretty crocuses. I truly don't think it matters which side you use - often one is rougher and one is smoother so it's personal preference, and sometimes there's no difference at all.
