I am celebrating Grandparents by scrapping a page about grandparents. This is for our September VSBN. Cheryl challenged us to fussy cut something on our layout. She said to mention what we fussy cut because some are so good at that you can't tell what was fussy cut. Not me! I fussy cut the potted plants and added them for some color. I used Spellbinder label dies, and also Spellbinder clock, heart and key dies, SU! Beautiful Wings Emboslit, and Martha Stewart butterfly punch. Flowers from stash. I stamped the flower pots from SU! Little By Little, and masked and stamped the flowers, then fussy cut. I used some gold sticker dots on the clock and the labels. The base paper is from stash, unknown, the doily from a package of unopened set of 9 doilies that I bought at a garage sale for , price still on it, 10 cents. I know it was at least ten years ago, because I was teaching Sunday School then, and probably thought I would use it some how. So, I have 8 more! The layer of cs under the photos is Downton Abbey. Thanks for looking.
Thanks for looking, and thanks Cheryl for inspiration.

Great vintage photos, and I love your flower pots! Your comments about the doily pack crack me up. Maybe you need to do a doily challenge next time you host VSBN (but be sure to send me one first since I don't have any - LOL)!

This is wonderful. I love your die cuts and the doily is great as a representative of that time period. I remember doilies being around on everything, from table tops to the backs of sofas and chairs, etc. How wonderful to have such great pics of your grandparents. Lovely page!
