I had a stamping friend over last night for an impromptu visit and decided to work on a second card for the Inspiration Challenge. I had seen this sign:
And used that to inspire the elements on my card. I used the leftover negative leaf piece from the July Paper Pumpkin to sponge some leaves and then fussy cut them. And added them to a woodgrain DSP panel that I had stamped a greeting on. I added some sequins and a twine bow. I matted this with a piece of Pretty Peacock CS. I could not find any color of CS that looked quite right for a card base, so I sponge more of the same colors I used for the leaves.

I love your card. The leaves are beautiful and look fabulous on the woodgrain background. Plus, you nailed your inspiration.

This is just stunning Kathy! I adore this lovely leaf sprig on your woodgrain background. I also love how the colors in the leaf match the colors in the background piece behind the woodgrain piece. This is going right into my favorites folder! ~Karen.
