So, I knew as soon as I seen this pillow I wanted cards that looked like this. And I started messing around with this on Monday but, every time I tried a one layer card I kept shifting the stencil crooked when I tried the other end haha so, I finally got a fairly straight one and die cut that sucker to fit a card front. And then I realized I had cut two different shades of cardstock so, the cardbase has the linen stamped again in both the Barley beige and then the old paper over the top of it so try and blend better with the diecut layer. (it's been one of those days all week long ;) ) You can find this challenge here to play along. Thanks for this challenge Julie & tfl.

Your card certainly looks like your inspiration pillow, Stacy, and it is sooooooo pretty. Sorry you had so much trouble. I have certainly had times like that, too.

Don't you just hate: different cardstocks (i mix up whites all the time!),
moving stencils (I keep thinking I'll get some of that spray), and the frustration putting an idea to paper (when it was supposed to be easy, but IRL it was not!)? Your card came out great...but let me guess, you won't be making a bunch of them!!
